Project Objective
Creating an enabling environment for the uptake of bioethanol as a clean cooking solution in Kenya to address the climate crisis while unlocking private sector investment.
Tasks
Convening government and non-government working groups of relevant ministries, the private sector, and development partners to co-create the Bioethanol Masterplan.
Overseeing the milestones of the management consultants drafting the Masterplan.
Overseeing the visualization of the Masterplan into infographics to easily communicate key messages to target audiences.
Publicizing the Masterplan in several relevant forums.
Outcomes
Successfully lobbying for the government's ownership and formal adoption of the Bioethanol Masterplan through the Ministry of Energy.
Kickstarting conversations with development partners to invest resources in the growth of the bioethanol sector in Kenya.
